done with the campus connect...free for abt 4-5 days...then off to KERELA...have to come back n do some shopping for infy...nt to forget there is this MEDICAL CHECK-UP that i have to do :(
these 20 days r gonna b awesome for me ppl...

Moving to Kansas is not as difficult as I imagined, atleast so far. Synchronously, I terribly miss my parents,Krishna,Sai. I loved it when abhi,bhow and nikki came to the airport to see us off. Pratima and deepthi came over to my place to bid me adieu and I quickly entrusted dem my last minute luggage packing job. Great to hav frens around wen u need dem the most ;)

Now I am in Manhattan, Kansas n Shifting into my apartment tomorrow. I hav never ever been on my own b4 and I wonder how it is gng to be lyk in near future. Well as u all knw Iam MAD and I fear I will remain so no matter where Iam. Y do I blabber? y do I hav to be utterly candid all tyms? uff may be its a genetic disorder or watever. So as expected I hav started to face troubles due to my irrational thinking ( just a sec!do i ever think b4 saying!), blabbering. Oh did I mention my habit of unintentionally and occasionally hurting ppl lingers around! oh i hate it! bla bla blu blu. Iam boring myself now, enuf of me :)

The weather at manhattan is cruelly hot, as hot as 120 F. It gets dark around 9 pm and sometyms I feel as if evenings are stolen by nature. Anyways I loove KSU and my Snrs here are helpful. For inside story and gossip wait till I get my cell. Till den take good care of urselves.

Highway to HELL!!!

This is a true incident.... Any resemblance to anybody's experience is a shear coincidence.....

9:30am reporting time at Indur Inst of Engg & Tech, Ponnala Village, Siddipet Mandal, Medak.... Yeah! Thats was my TOEFL center... Me and Akki booked our slots there....
Initial plans were to go by bus, and we needed to catch one at JBS!!! My mom was like "5:42am to 7:26am DURMUHURTAM ra"..... So, I bucked up and woke around 4:30am to leave the house by 5:35am max.... asked my dad to drop me off at Akki's place....we wanted to board the 6:30am Erra Bus.....

I didnt kno, my dad had to do a special pooja that day..... He started the pooja at 5:20am and time flew by, before i realized it was 6am already... I was so pissed off and in between my mom says, "Hanuman Chalisa chaduvu" every 2 mins..... I lost my cool and dragged my dad out of the house..... i was getting late right?...... however, my dad thought that his TRAIN (timed to depart at 7:10am from sec'bd, which was half an hour away at that time) was more important than my TOEFL exam and he asked me to drop him off at station and then go to Akki's place..... WTH! I got out in "durmuhurtam", am running late as it ease....so i didnt care......

Upon reaching Akki's place I got to kno.... We were going by CAR.... I was relieved!!!!

We hit the road.... since it was morning i didnt expect much traffic... but the shamirpet to medak highway was fairly busy..... the road side sites were soooo verrrry EYE Soothing u kno..... As they put up milestone every km, there was an Accident Vehicle, completely and thoroughly squashed, every 10km...... akki was driving so far (the coll is 93km from his place) on a highway for the first time....That irked enough..... Am not much of a believer in auspicious times and all... but, for some reason the "durmuhurtam" kept cropping up in my mind.... to top it all, the car stereo was playing Aerosmith's "Highway to Hell"!!!!!.... Just imagine the irony.....

Anyways, we reached the place very early, took a nap and checked out a few babes...including an Iranian One (God! She was HOT! Nicki ga... miss ayinav ra).... and travelled back safely.. made a couple of stops at Alankritha (a nice hang out place guys... we shud go sometime....) to have an apple pie and at Vack's (another cool place to hang out with friends...) we had an awesum pastry.. the FUN BOX*......

Finally, Reached my house, safe and sound!!! Phew!!! :)

P.S- If there is anybody wondering y this long post is not an issue of "Me and My frustrations", then let me tell u that i was not one bit frustrated... nope!!! .... I WAS SHIT SCARED DAMN IT!!!! And while coming back we saw couple of fresh accident vehicles, which were not there in the morning when we drove by... and that time we were playing MJ's Dangerous song..... :p

*A fun box is a pastry contained in a box, made of CHOCOLATE... even the lid is made of Chocolate... so the complete box is edible and its priced only Rs.60....Guess that triggered off the Tastebuds of the CHOCO maniacs of our group.... :p

Bangalore Trip!!!

Pros- Too good weather, nice room and good neighbourhood, pretty gals, tasty food and cool trasport facilities.... :p

Cons- Train arrived late, a lil lingo probs, shops closed by 10pm @ Jayanagar and we couldnt stay for another day bcos of the Bharath Bandh!
